What are the employer reporting requirements for tips?
Employees must report their tips to the employer when they exceed $20 per calendar month. The report to the employer must be submitted in writing by the tenth day of the month (or the next business day if a weekend or federal holiday) following any month when the employee received more than $20 in tips.
